Now that immigration reform is on the table, groups all around the country are working hard to protect the rights of immigrant and refugee families. Attendees of Our Common Future will get a chance to network with donors and charities in Michigan that are working together to address the social and economic challenges faced by the nation’s immigrant and refugee communities.
In Inclusive Community Building for Immigrants, Refugees, and the Next Generation, attendees will learn how this movement is fostering a more welcoming environment for all members of society. Michigan United’s Ryan Bates, ACCESS’s Nadia Tonova, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan’s Surabhi Pandit, and Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees’ Aryah Somers Landsberger will lead the morning session on Friday.
On Friday, October 27, come to Our Common Future for Inclusive Community Building for Immigrants, Refugees, and the Next Generation.
